Bikas Saha commented on TEZ-776:
--------------------------------

Spoke to a few security experts. While in general having user code plugins may
be a problem, in our case all third party plugins are being provided by the
user (as opposed to being instantiated by the Tez without consent from the
user). Hence, it is the users responsibility to make sure the such plugins are
verified/audited.

> Reduce AM mem usage caused by storing TezEvents

> This is open ended at the moment.
> A fair chunk of the AM heap is taken up by TezEvents (specifically
> DataMovementEvents - 64 bytes per event).
> Depending on the connection pattern - this puts limits on the number of tasks
> that can be processed.
