I was planning to work on the counters at the dag level in the webservice layer
for the UI at some point too. The plan was to use the cachedCounters from each
vertex and aggregate them so as to not cause a full scan of counters for all
tasks. As long as we dont do send back real-time updated counters for the dag (
which will cause a heavy load on the AM for large dags ), any cache based
approach should work.
