What's the final naming - master/replica?

Another alternative for the replica is "peer". No hierarchy implied.

Yes, I meant virtue signalling. Thanks for the correction.

I'm not complaining and not trying to persuade, rather I express an opinion.

Some of the changes look like virtue signalling to me because they have no
impact on daily life of the oppressed group while being actively promoted
as such.
The renamings don't solve a problem and don't help black people to suddenly
join
the industry, rather they distract, divide and confuse the development
community
(including developers outside the US).

It'd be much more helpful for the diversity (if that's the goal) if the
guys with well
paid jobs funded higher education for talented people who don't have such
an opportunity.
That'd provide real support. It'd be interesting to see how the very same
people who
advocate renames react to higher taxes that enable free education and
healthcare.
I hope they're consistent with their goal and their intent is honest.
