Just from a logistical standpoint, and advocate for possible dead trees,
is there a means to buy a downloadable version on line? I thought digital
rights management was one feature of  PDF ? Often the issue is time, not money
and I would think margins are better on electrons than dead trees.
Gratuitious PDF joke: it probably wouldn't even take 6-8 days to search a pdf 
document ( LOL, sorry couldn't
resist in this context. clearly an electronic version could offer many benefits 
especially if
you extract text but you are always free to grep the source code). Personally
I'd think you'd be better off with source code anyway since by definition it
can't have errors and you can fix things you don't like and report those here.
