I'll support whatever you decide to do. I bought both books, paid for the license and have used premium support. The product is wonderful and so long as there's a medium to ask and answer questions, I'll be happy.
Personally, I'd support SO as I'm in there all the time anyway...and that would allow for better usability I don't think you'd be "wrong" to say anything beyond SO would require paid support. I do think SO is more Q/A designed and won't work for a general discussion about a specific topic ("closed as not a question"). Not sure how/if you solve that issue.
