Hi Jacek, To my knowledge IVI currently only supports 2.1 web apps, not 2.2. And I would think a 2.1 web app would run fine in a VM if you get the image working in a VM. I don't use VM's so I can't say, sorry.
I'm not exactly clear on what you are trying to accomplish in 2.). The web app can be installed on Tizen IVI from the console using wrt-installer, and can be launched using wrt-launcher. This can be done from a script if you like. However if what you are looking for is a desktop icon to launch with, that's not possible just yet. There is currently no menu screen, just a desktop. Hope that helps get you started. -Brian From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jacek Serafinski Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2013 7:15 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Tizen web app for tizen ivi Hey guys, this is my first post here. I've started playing with Tizen more than a month ago and wrote this blog post http://blog.carmesh.eu/2013/07/16/tizen-ivi-a-breakthrough-in-on-board-units/ currently I'm trying to figure out if it's possible and how to: 1. Deploy a webapp developed under Tizen SDK 2.2 (.apk) in Tizen IVI running in VM Player 2. Add application to IVI so it can be reached and used from dashboard application (e.g. build my own navigation app). I guess the latter will be harder. Thanks for your help, Regards, Jacek
