FYI - I have been using a PVR350 with DVB through MythTv and the latest development versions of ivtv for a little while now.

Although using the mpeg decoder for playback of content recorded from the PVR350 is excellent I haven't been able to use the mpeg decoder successfully with DVB content. However with the latest improvements in CPU utilisation for xv playback using xv for mythtv on the PVR350 is very usable for me (previously there were some audio syncronisation issues).

I do have some slight issues with the OSD being slightly flickery during playback and with the OSD frequently being placed incorrectly such that a large part of it is offscreen - which I'm not yet sure is a MythTv or ivtv problem

You can adjust the size in mythtv: settings->tv->playback-> then one of the last pages.

That can make myth choose a size for the Xv so that it actually fits on your tv.

The OSD scaling I don't know of any way to fix. If you're watching 'native' (720x576 or 480) content, it looks fine, but if you're looking a smaller divx for instance, the OSD looks funky due to the scaling that happens. It would be nice if this could be fixed, but I have no clue if its possible.

Bye, Lucas
