Hey Jim,

Thanks for the reply.  I haven't had a chance to mess with it lately, but I
did try a few things.

The first link you sent appears to be for the ivtv driver and not the cx18 I
think.  I tried doing a "modprobe cx18 newi2c=1" and it gives me an
'unrecognized parameter' error.

I think the eeprom must be at a different address or it has a totally
different rom layout.

I'll see if I can try playing with some more after the weekend.
