I never thought I'd be so happy to see 9 seconds of static!  Tonight after
work I'll play around with inputs, etc and see if I can actually get
picture.

Jarod.  Thanks for the note about ivtv tuner=50.  Is that still necessary?
 I thought that the ivtv driver would detect and try to set that
automagically.

Regarding the msp3400, I rememebered the previous error message with
2.6.9, so I didn't even bother to compile it into my 2.6.10 kernel.  I
actually stripped quite a bit out of that kernel...  No need to have AMD,
nVidia, and ATI drivers compiled in everywhere when I have a SiS chipset  
;-)
