I'm in the planning stage of my mythbox project. To me the pvr 350 seems to be the right way to go but while scanning this list I have seen some worrying posts and I'd be really grateful if someone could help me with my questions.
There seems to be some concerns regarding newer card revisions and tuner chips. Is there a chance I might end up with an unusable card if I order a new one? TV-Out from xine and mplayer under myth-DVD and Myth-Video. Seems many people have problems getting this to work properly and/or without jumpy video. Can it be done? I will use my mythbox at least as much for videos as tv so this is important to me. I plan to run Myth on QT/Embedded and fb.
