I got both video and audio working unfortunately it is on the S-video option not the tuner option. Since I was getting audio using the no_black_magic=1 patch on the Svidoe0 input I just changed the following two lines in the CX25840_TAG('S','-','v','i','d','e','o'), section
CX25840_SET_CH_1__SOURCE(0x0006), *** I changed the value from 0x0000 to 0x0006
CX25840_SET_CH_3__SOURCE(0x0001), *** I changed the value from 0x0000 to 0x0001 Then I selected svideo0 as an input and everything worked I get great picture and great audio.
I hope someone can use this information to turn it into an appropriate patch. I really don't know how......
I agree! I have the composite port working (I think), but would *love* to get color on my svideo port. could actually think about using it for mythtv at that point (once I get mythfrontend to stop segfaulting when I try to watch tv from the card).
If you could be a little more specific about what you changed (files, etc) and what modprobe.conf options you used (and how you used them -- I don't even know if my tuner=47 option is done correctly), I'd be happy to verify this.
