[skipped]I think my original cx25840 module actually did scaling like this, using both registers, at least from what I remember. So that code may be of use, at least I first did it and it cropped like it does in the current module, then had to set another 2 registers to make it scale instead. So maybe I'm mistaken, not sure, but that should have been correct originally.
Chris, do you remember where your original code is? I went down to 3.1c, where cx2580 appears for the
first time, but as I can see, there is no (H/V)ACTIVE at in DECODER_SET_SIZE case :( Only scaler
and filter registers.
Could anybody tell my what could reset (H/V)ACTIVE when I'm trying to open /dev/video ?
