Just tried 0.3.3w and wow it's hanging in there better than any version yet.
I don't try all the versions but all the versions I've tried since 0.3.2v with the ff/rw pause improvements have been disappointing but 0.3.3w so far is kick-a! No freezes, no pauses in several minutes of viewing with remote control acrobatics.
