The 3.6r release does not contain the patch just posted. However, despite the 
version change I believe this 3.6p patch can still be applied to 3.6r without 
problems. Unfortunately, I doubt it will fix the issues you're having.

One of the improvements provided by this latest patch is that xine should now 
be able to change the aspect ratio properly.
