Can you try again without the ivtv options and mail the log? It should never 
be misidentified at all. I also made a change in the handling of the tda9887 
option in 0.3.7f, so if the same problem does not occur in version 0.3.7e 
then the chances are I introduced a bug. But you shouldn't need that option 
in the first place.
