I've seen a few offers to setup a subversion repository for ivtv. It is my opinion that we should move quickly in that direction. I've seen offers from Isaac Richards and Axel Thimm.
How quickly can it be setup and be ready for use? Basically we need a place to put up datasheets (they are now all over the place), have a svn and a bugtracking thing is also handy. And you need to be able to download periodic releases and perhaps snapshots. I will certainly not be involved in setting it up or maintaining it. I have neither time nor interest in that part of the operation. One reason for doing this fast is that I want to keep the momentum. I especially want to move on from 0.3 to 0.4 and do some major cleanups, and svn is ideal for tracking that.
