This looks wrong; what do "lspci" and "lspci -n" say about the card?

I realise this might be better discussed on the v4l list, but I don't
want to take it over there just yet:

The tuner frequency control (tuner-simple or 4-bytes style) in tuner.c
does not send enough bytes! Reading the FM1216ME_MK3/FQ1216ME_MK3
datasheets, I think there should be 6, not 4, which include
important-sounding settings like charge-pump fast/slow and PLL tuning
on/off. If the Philips MK4 is similar enough to the MK3s, I'd conclude
the tuner is being barely, not fully configured, which might lead to the
sound dropouts I (and others) have been hearing.
