$ lspci 0000:02:08.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16 (CX23416) MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01) 0000:02:09.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16 (CX23416) MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01) $ lspci -n 0000:02:08.0 0400: 4444:0016 (rev 01) 0000:02:09.0 0400: 4444:0016 (rev 01) I'm afraid I have not the knowledge to see what is wrong. I checked that there is no other PVR description but PVR-250/PVR-350 in my pci.ids file. I had good audio on one channel, and average to bad quality on others with 0.3.3x but I lost audio with the following drivers. Thank you very much for your help, I tried so different module options and module loading setup that I found myself with no idea what to do next.
