These modules are for the PVR250/350 and are not used by the PVR150.

Looking at the log you posted earlier it looks like you might not be 
using the correct tda9887 module. Look in /lib/modules if there are 
other copies lying around and rename them so they aren't loaded. Only 
the ivtv version should be used. You should see a message like:

tda9887 0-0043: (ivtv) chip found @ 0x86 (ivtv i2c driver #0)

(note the 'ivtv' string).
