Thanks in advance for the help,

Details:

Hauppauge 150MCE
Ubuntu breezy 5.10
kernel is 2.6.12-10-amd64-generic
firmware taken from pvr_2.0.24.23035.zip

ivtv 0.4.0 works fine, with the exception of the remote dropping out - I'd like
to try 0.4.2 as it appears to have some fixes to the i2C that resolve this
problem.

0.4.2 ( and 0.4.1 for that matter) do not work fine; dmesg | grep ivtv follows:

[ 1831.874393] ivtv:  ==================== START INIT IVTV ====================

I've tried pretty much everything I could think to resolve this problem, and now
have become firmly stuck. Hopefully I am missing something simple.

Thanks,

Michael
