I still do not have sound working on tuner0 or tuner1. I have modified my
modprobe.conf and firmware files, so here is an update. I no longer
receieve messages about buggy firmware.
Again, my problem is a Hauppage WinTV PVR500 with dual tuners. They both
work fine for video but there is no audio on MythTV or when I cat
/dev/video0 to a mpg and use mplayer or xine to play it. All volume
controls I can find are turned up all the way.
As an important note, the volume in ivtvctl says mute=1, and using ivtvctl
-y mute=0 does not set the mute to 0, despite it saying OK.

Any help in getting sound working would be much appreciated! Sound card is
working btw, if I use play and tell it to play a .wav file or something.
