Correct, CC does not work with the cx25840-based cards such as the 
PVR150/500. VBI capturing works for PAL, but I didn't manage to get it 
to work for NTSC. I do have contact with a someone else who is trying 
to implement it. He lives in NTSC country, so testing is easier for him 
then it is for me. Fingers crossed.

CC capturing does work for saa7115 based cards, such as the PVR250/350. 
No problems there.

It's just the NTSC/cx25840 combination that fails.
