This is the same problem I am still having. I worked with you Hans a little but I never heard back from you from my last round of tests. I ran into the issue where the windows driver that gave kernel logs that you had me download gave me the same weak signal problem on the first tuner as I had using ivtv in fedora.
I was kind of thinking the same idea that maybe the frequency was off slightly so I was also trying to change the frequency manually using ivtv-tine -f, but that didn't really help things. I will try the vtvctl -R command tonight. -Doug On Mar 20, 2006, at 4:41 PM, Hans Verkuil wrote: > On Monday 20 March 2006 19:33, Dave Logan wrote: >> Good Day, all. >> I'd like to ask if there is anybody with the 500 that has resolved >> the "weak signal" on the first tuner issue yet, or if the silence on >> the list is just from giving up. :) >> Using both the 0.4.4 and the 0.4 SVN, I still get a much fuzzier >> signal on the first tuner.
