Count me in on this. While dual booting my server machine is out of the
question, the desktop next to it is. I just need to work on the
cabling in the
server box to make swapping easy.

I'm 99% positive that support for the Samsung tuner support is complete. My
logic? We have two identical tuners on the board. One works perfectly, or at
least nearly perfectly. The other doesn't work in certain situations, ones
which happen to coincide with the frequency coverage of another component on
the board (the FM tuner IC) which is only present for the section of the
PVR-500 that is exhibiting major problems. Given that one works
perfectly, the
tuner is almost surely operating fine. For some reason though, one tuner is
getting bad input in certain situations. In short, when the Samsung tuner was
added, other changes were made to the board elsewhere that need to be taken
into account. Thus I don't think the Samsung data sheet would help the
situation at all even if it were obtained.

Somewhat off topic but related (see above comments about server
cabling) - Does
anyone know where I can obtain both a 24-pin to 24-pin EPS12V ATX extension
cable AND a 4-pin to 4-pin P4ATX extension cable from the same vendor?
mwave.com has the 4-pin extension but not the other cable, and
directron has
the 24 pin but not the 4. Newegg has neither. Unfortunately both vendors
either have minimum order amounts greater than the price of the cable I want
from them or exorbitantly high S&H for such a small order. Right now removing
the PVR-500 from the server involves unplugging very thick and stiff
cables and
moving them out of the way, getting those extensions would make the
process MUCH
easier.
