I have a problem with the 0.6.1 version of the ivtv driver (under a 2.6.16 kernel). 2.6.15 + 0.4.3 worked flawlessly on this machine (and still does), so some change in the kernel or the ivtv drivers appear to cause my problem. Now, on to my problem: I get no errors at all, but I get a black and silent MPEG stream when trying to watch/capture TV! I include as much debugging info as I could find below, but what I find strange is: * "tuner 1-0061: Tuner mode: radio" (from ivtvctl --log-status) * "saa7115 1-0021: Input: Composite 4" (from ivtvctl --log-status) On the other hand, I have found no means of changing tuner mode. And ivtvctl --get-input says "Video input = 0" while ivtvctl --list-inputs says "Input : 0 Name : Tuner 1". (Tuner type is set the same (38) under 2.6.15 + 0.4.x and 2.6.16 + 0.6.x.) (0.4.x ivtv drivers had different format for --log-status, so I don't know what is normal in 0.6.x terms.)
