I'm just not familiar with the debugging steps getting ivtv installed and configured correctly, and I need some help debugging further.
I'm trying to get the ivtv-0.4.4 driver installed on my 2.6.15-gentoo-r7 distribution. My card is still not being recognized in the dmesg output (below). Also, ivtvctl -a output below that. I've been trying to build and install the driver using the Generic Install Directions (http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Howto) and firmware (http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Firmware)because ivtv-0.4.2 is the most recent version in Gentoo portage (masked at that).
