Hey Phil,

Regarding the kernel upgrade...are you thinking I should compile it
from source? Or, can I do this with yum (e.g. perhaps boot with
2.6.11, yum remove all the non-2.6.11 stuff, yum install 2.6.16 (with
devel), reboot with 2.6.16).

Then, recompile ivtv. Dumb question...do I need to 'remove' what I
already installed for ivtv or will rebuilding it with make clean or
make distclean do this for me?

Sorry if this is OT...still somewhat of a linux noob.

Thanks again for your help!
