Card: PVR-150
Kernel: 2.6.16-r9
ivtv version: 0.6.2

Everything compiled alright; however, when I try to load the ivtv kernel module I get the following error (from dmesg):

ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ====================
ivtv: version 0.6.2 (tagged release) loading
ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.16-gentoo-r9 SMP PENTIUMIII gcc-3.4
ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info between

ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users mailinglist.

ivtv0: Error -12 on initialization
ivtv: probe of 0000:00:06.0 failed with error -12
ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV ====================

I had the exact same problem when I tried this with a 2.6.15-r8 kernel and 0.4.2 ivtv. I use gentoo, and I see no one else in their forum has posted this before and the only repeats of it from google are about 3 years old (with fixes only applying to older kernels). I also don't see any menton of this on the ivtv wiki. Does anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong here?
