I emerged now vdr and pvrinput, using the same channel.conf, that works with
my previous installation. At the end of the system log file:

Sep 10 13:11:54 digi ivtv0: i2c hardware 0x00000008 not found for command
0xc008561c!
Sep 10 13:11:55 digi ivtv0: i2c addr 0x21 not found for command 0x40045613!

0xc008561c!
Sep 10 13:12:47 digi ivtv0: i2c hardware 0x00000008 not found for command
0xc008561c!

Every time I zap two new lines of this kind appears:

Sep 10 13:13:06 digi ivtv0: i2c hardware 0x00000008 not found for command
0xc008561c!
Sep 10 13:13:06 digi ivtv0: i2c hardware 0x00000008 not found for command
0xc008561c!

Could this indicate where the problem is? If this could help: I've an Epia
SP 13000 mainboard. I've a dual boot with the working ivtv 0.4 and an
earlier kernel on another partition where all works without problems.
