I just ran one recording through this, and was suprised at it. It was
full of garbage. How to start:
I could see some wierd things, where the screen would show some green
vertical lines across.
the top 1/4 and bottom 1/4 would go scrambled looking.
The audio would speed up and/or jump.
This is all preliminary testing on my secondary machine. I looked
through the syslog and /var/log/messages and don't see anything in
there. I will try another recording this weekend, and then perhaps I
will try with my 2.6.16/0.6.3 and see if it still happens there, or if
it's specific to the 2.6.18/0.8.1 combo. But, preliminary testing
doesn't look good for me.
