As an update to this, I turned on ivtv_debug=127 and now cannot get the
problem to reproduce.  Having such huge logs is no answer though.  Will
turn debug down to 3 and keep trying to get a meaningful message.

Still are there any ideas what I can do.  I have two cards that are
worthless now.
