Probably the coldplug feature is already loading the modules. Does it
work without the ivtv module installed?

Ok, well... with udev-103... coldplug must be removed, but the "coldplug"
feature of udev is indeed trying to load the module(s).
One new thing I have learned... that I don't have a problem with the PVR-500
by itself. But, the PVR-350's lock up if present when udev loads the
module.
I currently am running ivtv version 0.9.1 .. on kernel 2.6.19-gentoo-r2
"lspci -v"

I can't give any good output of the ivtv module load... since if I try to
load the ivtv module while one of the PVR-350's is present... my system
completely hard-locks.
Please advise.
