Ok... so my system has recently stopped booting with the latest 0.8 ivtv
versions. I am using udev-103. I believe something in the latest 0.8 and
0.9 ivtv that's confounding udev... I set the logging level to udev to
"debug" and that's indeed where the boot process stops.

I had thought at one point that it might have been lircd locking up, but
once I disabled that, it continued to lock up.

I have two PVR-350's and one PVR-500 in my system, but since I've tried
booting on all combinations of cards... and the system will only boot once I
remove all cards from the box, I'm kinda leaning towards a problem with
ivtv.

I've compiled the latest 2.6.19 for using with the 0.9 branch of ivtv, and I
can't seem to get any of it to work. I'm considering downgrading to an
earlier 0.8... but am not sure where to go from here.

I'm wondering perhaps if it's a firmware loading issue...

Any help would be keen.

Thanks.
