Hi:
I am having the following problems with a capture card / ivtv / mplayer:
1. ivtv-tune -c 'n' indicates 'Signal Detected' only with n = 5 or 6
2. mplayer -vo xv /dev/video0 shows only black and white, and audio is out
of sync with video.
Using cable TV input; cable has valid signal ( works fine with a tv set )
The card came from a system vendor; they told me to use cardtype 7, tuner
57; without those settings ivtv did not recognize the card. Card has
CX23416-22, CX25843-242, PHILIPS FQ1236/F H-3. Unfortunately, they are not
willing to help me.
