I have a PVR 500, and personally, I love it. Dual tuners are wonderful
(and without dual tuners, I'd have conflicts all the time). I have
heard of issues, but I presume that Hauppauge would swap the card for
you if you wanted/needed?
In any case, for me: I dropped in a PVR 500, I installed the drivers,
and viola - it worked. I did have a few hangs when both tuners were
recording simultaneously, but that cleared up with newer kernels
(2.6.18) and latest IVTV drivers.
