Well, I'm not really a Linux God, so I really don't know how to disable CPU Frequency Scaling... It seems complicated, but I will look into it.
What I did do though was add 'nosmp noapic' when the kernel boots. I only get 1 cpu, but it doesn't crash. I can probably live with this until the new version comes out. I'd really hate to upgrade the kernel because Ubuntu for Edgy is just packaged up to 2.6.17. Like I mentioned, I'm not a Linux God... :-) No rush, but do you happen to know when the new version of the driver will be released? Thanks for the information, Mike
