I don't run MythTV and have noticed the slow clock problem too.  I  
now realise that the slow clock arose about the time of the  
installation of ivtv 0.10.0.  I just cat /dev/video0 to a file, and  
don't do any VBI guff, nevertheless the clock is slow.
