just to chime in with what others have said, downgrading my kernel took care of the chipmunk voices. i'm still getting the flicker, though. i really may have to give up and throw a faster computer at myth.
for the record my non-working kernel was from this debian package: linux-image-2.6.18-4-k7, version 2.6.18.dfsg.1-11 ( linux-image-2.6.18-4-k7_2.6.18.dfsg.1-11_i386.deb ) and the "working" one was from: linux-image-2.6.18-3-k7, version 2.6.18-7 ( linux-image-2.6.18-3-k7_2.6.18-7_i386.deb ) if developers are interested, i'd be happy to help track down what changed between those. --Rob On Mon, Mar 26, 2007 at 01:55:58AM -0700, Rob Starling wrote: > fwiw, i'm also getting the "chipmunk voices" problem > on occasion. > > Thanks! > --Rob > > On Sat, Mar 24, 2007 at 04:12:27PM -0700, Rob Starling wrote: > > Hi all!
