Hi all! I have a PVR-150 (a real one) and it worked fine until i moved to to another (older) computer. Now there is some flicker (not a whole lot, but enough to be annoying) in recordings (both from mythtv and from cat /dev/video0).
I tried increasing increasing the latency_timer for my IDE controller (setpci -v -s 00:11.1 latency_timer=80) as per the advice at http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/PCI_Latency but that didn't seem to help much. (default on my system is 32, ivtv bumps the PVR-150 up to 64, so i set the IDE at 128) Does anybody have suggestions for settings i should poke at? My dmesg output follows, but appears normal. Also, i should mention that the previous (working!) box was using almost exactly the same kernel (2.6.18-3-k7 SMP) and was using ivtv-0.10.0rc1. The current box is a little slower (1.4GHz Athlon instead of 1.7GHz) and has an older motherboard. ide0 isn't sharing an interrupt with anything, and ivtv0 is sharing IRQ 5 with USB (not used) and my soundcard (also not used during this test).
