Hello:

I am seeing apparent horizontal syncing errors in one of my two PVR-150 MCE 
Hauppage tuners when I upgrade to versions higher than 0.7.4 (linux 2.6.17.14). 
  The errors seem to be related to sharp vertical edges in the image, as used 
in 
graphics overlays on news or sports broadcasts.  On other channels the 
corruption does not occur. or occurs only rarely.  The corruption consists of 
horizontal displacement of some lines and occasional brief image stuttering or 
freezing.  (I don't know if there's a connection but the sync failings coincide 
with the first kernel version (2.6.18) to have working VBI.)

The date codes on the failing card show it's about one year older than the 
working card.  All the important parts have different revision codes.  The 
problem still occurs on the latest development kernel, 2.6.23-rc3, which gives
