Sorry I suppose I should have posted a reply, but got this
working a couple of days ago and since it was so long since the
posting, I did not post that it was fixed. Sorry.

I upgraded to a newer version of Linux (Puppy 2.17)  and used the
IVTV version in the link above.

I now use cardtype=21 and it works.  Tuner support is not
provided in that card type.  Presumably I can use cardtype=16 for
tuner support and not line in and cardtype 21 for line in.  I
have not tried cardtype = 16 since I got cardtype 21 working as I
do not want to break it.

BTW without the cardtype it defaulted to Hauppauge PVR150.  Are
you still interested in that log?
