Since I removed the card, I have not had any problems with losing the sound on recordings but now the error messages are back. MythTV is working better than ever since I have removed the possible defective pvr350 card. MythTV is recording perfectly since removing the pvr350 card (the wife is happy now). I have concluded that the msp3400 errors have nothing to do with losing the sound on the recordings. I think there is two different problems. I'm pretty sure the card is defective, and will setup the card in a windows machine this weekend before tossing it my hardware graveyard. Don't have a clue what was the cause of the msp3400 errors but it is not causing any problems with MythTV recordings, and the video and sound are perfect. Even pvr350 video out is working perfectly with MythTV now! I have been doing some reading about the pvr350 and apparently the pvr350 can overheat. Maybe two pvr350's, and one pvr250 was causing too much heat buildup inside the case. Since I removed the pvr350, I have made sure that the current cards have plenty of air flow to cool the cards. My current setup is one pvr350 and one pvr250. Stupid question time sorry about this, but how do I determine the revision model for the card?
