Hello, Finally solved my problem why the pvr350 card was not recording sound after the recording for a few minutes. I finally tested the card in windows and had the exact same problem with the audio stopping after a few minutes. The video part was fine.
The pvr350 card is defective. It has two blown capacitors at the end of the board. I'm going to try to replace it under warranty. The capacitors have brown substance slowly coming out of the top of both of them. I guess it could be a heat related issue, but I have seen this type of problem with a motherboard once.
