Ack I missed this. -12 is -ENOMEM. You may need to add a line similar
to the following to /etc/sysctl.conf:
vm.min_free_kbytes = 16384
To get rid of the ENOMEM problem.
That still won't fix the I2C problem that gives you the EEPROM messages
(-121 is -EREMOTEIO, refering to the remote I2C on the HVR-1600).
