The PVR-500 card that I'm using apparently introduces two features that don't exist in the original recordings, as evidenced by viewing on a regular TV screen the VHS tapes that I'm capturing.
A thick black vertical band is on the entire left side of the video image, and a thin band of distortion exists along the entire bottom. What might be causing these features?
