i started investigating this again since ABC started showing up on the
silicondust site. they show it as channels 99-1,2, and 3. after
looking at the frequency charts it describes these as "mid-band", much
lower than the 94 and 100 channels? so i did a scandvb and looked at
those frequencies and i get a tuning error:

  >>> tune to: 93000000:QAM_256
  WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
  >>> tune to: 93000000:QAM_256 (tuning failed)

  >>> tune to: 105000000:QAM_256

is this a problem with the driver, the card, or scandvb? w_scan seems to
give the same errors in that frequency range.

my system is stock fedora 14 with kernel 2.6.35.14-95.fc14.x86_64 currently.

thanks again for any help,
