Thanks. This I didn't fully understand. I thought all the time that the tuner was compilled into the ivtv module. Which tuner module should I use? For the above I used the tuner-3036. I compilled the plain "tuner" module and modprobed it and then ivtv. Now it appears much better, but I can't tune any channels.
