A mi personalmente me parece una idea buenísima. Lo veo más descriptivo, más vendible, más actual, más acorde con los nuevos procesos y procedimientos y más abierto (aunque ahora me queda la duda de si ese nuevo nombre también implicaría una apertura real a freelances o empresas, que a mi también me parecería un punto básico para crear un organismo útil de verdad)
Este tema es el de siempre. La gente estudia Derecho y acaba trabajando con multitud de títulos, en multitud de empresas y multitud de especialidades...y aunque haya abogados a patadas la gente asimila la carrera como unos estudios con multitud de salidas. ¿Por qué no pasa lo mismo con la Biblioteconomia o Documentación? Porque nos cerramos. Porque o nos llamamos "bibliotecarios o "documentalistas" o es que estamos dejando de lado la profesión y somos unos "parias" (exagerando un poquillo :D ) A mi personalmente me ha perjudicado mi relación con los términos "bibliotecas y documentalistas" porque estoy en un sector en que esas palabras se asignan a los roles tradicionales. Si hay documentalistas que hacen tareas documentales, porque me he de llamar igual sólo por haberlo estudiado? y porque me llame diferente, tengo q dejar de lado mi especialidad en documentación o mi suscripción a iwetel o a cualquier otro foro? No veo correlación. El famoso "es que no nos valoran" "es que no hay salidas para nuestros estudios" "es que las empresas no saben qué hacemos" lo estamos creando nosotros mismos.
