In the meantime
[2.12.1|https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/xerces/xercesImpl/2.12.1] and
[2.12.2|https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/xerces/xercesImpl/2.12.2] are
available in the central Maven Repository. This can be closed.
