Hey All, I am working on a jabber server (jabberd2 version 2.0s11-1ubuntu2) that is integrated with my employers windows network (Active Directory 5.2.3790.1830). I believe everything is configured correctly however when I try to connect, I find this in the debug output:
Thu Jan 10 16:52:09 2008 [error] ldap: search (sAMAccountName=name goes here) failed: Operations error My client (pidgin2.2.1) says 'Unknown error'. I've installed all the dependancies: jabber-common, libc6 (>= 2.6-1), libidn11 (>= 0.5.18), libldap2 (>= 2.1.17-1), libmysqlclient15off (>= 5.0.27-1), libpam0g (>= 0.99.7.1), libssl0.9.8 (>= 0.9.8e-1), zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-1) It seems like whatever is searching Active Directory is what's having problems, but I don't know how to diagnose anything further than that.
